How our CO2 calculator works
The foundation of our calculation
At Upcycling Forum we believe that a unit which is upcycled or reused blocks the production of a new corresponding unit.
Therefore, the data we use in our calculation, is based on the CO2-emissions from the extraction and production (Cradle to Gate) of a corresponding new unit.
Our data sources are:
EPD-DANMARK, Ökobaudat and Eco-platform.
